1: He starts to act nervous or needy for no discernible reason - The time of life when a guy is most nervous is either when he is asking a girl out on a date, or asking her to be with him for the rest of his life. Imagine how terrified he is that you might reject him. A mans greatest fear is of rejection. Inside, his guts are squirming, his mind is working overtime and he has to try to keep everything under wraps. Chances are he will begin to act weird because it is almost impossible for a guy to hold all this inside and yet act as if nothing is going on. The biggest thing to look out for is his change in attitude. He will likely put in extra effort to tell you how much he loves you, how he adores and appreciates you. He is hoping very much that you will reciprocate his feeling and it is his way of assuring himself that when he does pop the question, your answer is a resounding Yes!
Yet, it is important to take note in the fact that a gift that is given at a wedding shower is the most customary thing given, and the most prized. At the wedding shower, it is also customary that these gifts will be open for the guests to see. For that reason, gifts should be purchased with this kept in mind. Other Appropriate Times: The co workers of the bride may decide to give the bride an office shower. At the office shower, those that know the bride well will give her a gift. Generally speaking the gifts are something for the home. But, they are often much less costly than the gifts given at a bridal shower. The office shower is less formal, generally only being a lunch hour occasion. There should also be a cake and/or a deli tray presented to those that come to the shower. The person closest to the bride will give her the shower but a boss can do so as well.
